Mansa Central Member of Parliament, Chitalu Chilufya says government will continue to work with the private sector to ensure timely distribution of farming inputs.
Dr Chilufya, who is also Minister of Health, has since assured small-scale farmers in Mansa that the E-Voucher cards meant for the district will be distributed this week.
He said the district is set to distribute 8 out of 13 thousand cards that have been received for the exercise.
And Dr Chilufya has commended Mumocha Enterprises, an Agro-dealer company that is working with government in distributing farming inputs.
Dr Chilufya has told the company’s Manager, Adams Moyo, that private sector support is needed for smooth implementation of the E-Voucher system.
And Mr Moyo has said Mumocha Enterprises has 50 thousand bags of fertiliser to give to farmers on credit before they receive their cards.
